A Southern California native, Mark spent his formative years in San Diego devouring Mexican food and sidestepping the beach. After graduating from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2012 with a BA in Film and Digital Media, Mark relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career in post-production. 

Starting as a post-production assistant at Skip Film - the marketing arm of Ridley Scott Associates (RSA) - Mark familiarized himself with various post-workflows and learned the politics of the cutting room. In 2014, Mark seized an opportunity to work on the docu-series The Director's Chair as lead assistant editor at Robert Rodriguez's newly formed cable channel El Rey Network. While at El Rey, Mark also served as post-production coordinator on The Director's Chair, edited promotional spots, and assumed the role of finishing editor after completing courses at the International Colorist Academy. 

Mark has also freelanced as an assistant editor & editor on scripted feature films and television series for Netflix, Apple, Amazon & Hulu. Most recently, Mark completed his work as additional editor on Disney’s Haunted Mansion and edited the forthcoming Violent Ends starring Billy Magnussen, Alexandra Shipp & Nick Stahl.
